What We Know So Far

The past couple of days have been quite uneasy for us Britney fans and I don't want to dwell on what has happened. Let's just focus on the present and whats going on right now.


Here's what we know so far:

1) TMZ is reporting that there is now more evidence showing that Britney's situation wasn't due to substance abuse-- but rather a bipolar disorder.
2) The hospital determined she was no longer a danger to herself or anyone else & was released from the hospital.
3) There were no drugs, alcohol, or any substances found in her system at all.
4) Dr Phil has made it very clear to the public that he wants to help Britney. He was reportedly at the hospital to meet with Britney and some family members before she left.

I hope she's doing alright and, as much as I don't really like Dr Phil, I hope she takes advantage of his offer to help her.

Keep your head up, Brit.

Now, More Than Ever..

Britney really needs someone.

Let's get a few things straight on the situation first: 1) She is NOT on drugs. She has been tested in the hospital, and multiple sources have already confirmed that she is completely CLEAN. So, don't any of you get the story twisted on that part. 2) If anyone ever suspected that she had a mental problem, that's probably the most plausible answer after the events that took place at her house last night.

So, maybe she didn't want to give up her kids to Kevin. It's wasn't a smart thing to do in her current legal situation, but--you have to look at her side. Can you imagine how completely miserable she is being so lonely? She has absolutely no one except her two boys.

I know that people are tired of hearing fans defend the popstar--

--but in many respects, this matter at hand is NOT about the entertainment business anymore. This is a story about a mother fighting for her children. No matter what the cause. She's not concerned about the public thinking she's crazy. WHO GIVES A DAMN? I'm pretty sure my mother would go insane if I, or any of her other children weren't parts of her life anymore.

I really, truly hope that everything works out for her. I can't even imagine the pain she's going through and I don't want to even think about what that pain could possibly lead to.

Now, more than ever-- Britney has shown the BLIND world, yet again, that she still is a human. There's nothing simpler than that to explain what happened last night. We're all born on this earth. We live. We hurt. We love. We f*ck up. and then We die.

Keep your head up, Britney. I know you just need a friend.

Disturbing Update...

TMZ reports: Britney Spears was just wheeled out of her home on a gurney by paramedics! Why god why?!?

We're told Britney is being taken to a local hospital on a "medical hold" -- essentially a mental evaluation. Cops found her earlier this evening at her home under the influence of an "unknown substance."

Cops were called to the popnightmare's home in Beverly Hills this evening after she reportedly refused to return custody of her two kids back over to their father's bodyguard.

I just don't understand... This is just so surreal.

TMZ is at Britney's house in Beverly Hills as several more police cars, fire trucks, an ambulance and a police chopper have now all descended on the popwreck's humble abode. Don't let 'em git me!!

We've learned Spears has refused to turn her two sons back over to their daddy tonight, as ordered by the court. LAPD tells us they've been called to the home to deal with the family custody dispute.

UPDATE on Police Situation

There are reports that police have been called to Britney's house tonight. Apparently Britney was not ready to give up time with her sons Sean Preston & Jayden James quite yet:

"The pop star was due to turn over Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, at 7 p.m. PST. Federline's bodyguard arrived at her home to pick them up, but Spears would not budge. She has been with the kids since noon Thursday.

Ninety minutes later, police arrived.

"There have been police sent to that residence," an officer tells Us Weekly. "We don't know anymore at this time, but apparently they've arrived."

Spears' attorney, Sorrell Trope, tells Us, "In a normal case when someone shows up with a certified court order saying the kids need to be somewhere else, the police see to it that the order is obeyed. But that is in a normal case."

TMZ has confirmed that LAPD has been called to Britney Spears' house in Beverly Hills for what we're being told is a "family custody dispute."

LAPD tells us the call came in around 8:00 PM this evening, but they would not tell us who made the call or what the specific problem was. Officers, we're told, are still on scene.

Damn that Federline.. can't he just let her have them for a little more? She does have a monitor and everything. What more does he possibly need from her? How heartless.

BREAKING NEWS.

I was on the road just a couple of minutes ago and the radio said that there are cops that arrived to Britney's house at 8:00pm this evening and are still there. They said it was in regards to the custody battle and had no further information on the situation.

Man, I hope everything's alright.

Let's get to the straight to the goods. Britney has finally showed up to her deposition. It didn't last very long--but at least she showed! According to multiple sources, Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed's lawyer, even mentioned that she was very "cooperative." Don't believe all those damn headlines which always try to twist the story around. She SHOWED. That's all that's important.

DAMN she looked amazing too-- almost dangerous in a way. I wouldn't want to mess with that!

It's a New Year Already?

Hey guys,

I know I haven't been updating as much as every other site, but-- a lot of you have forgotten that I don't run a regular news-based Britney site. This is strictly a source for my personal opinion on current Britney situations and I usually choose which headlines I wish to talk about. That is also why I have links to many amazing sites which do the instant news updating oh so very well. Among those sites are Breath Heavy, Britney Experts, and my now personal favorite, Break The Ice.

Anyhow, onto other things. 2007 has been a tough year on Britney. We all know what went down and honestly--all that has happened to her has made me love her even more. If anything, this year (more than any other period in her life) has made me believe that she is one of the most REAL artists out there. It's very obvious that she isn't trying to be someone she's not (like a lot of these new artists coming out).

After many years of being in the music business, she's still primarily a pop singer. No tricks, nothing to hide from the public, just pure Britney Spears. For those who haven't caught on to who she is or what she does by now-- I must say you're completely blind.

For all the critics this year:

1) Of course she's controversial you idiots--she has been since she first came out. It is NOTHING new. 2) Of course we know she lip syncs when she dances--some artists don't have enough stamina to do both at the same time. 3) She is NOT fat--for those who think so, you're sick in the head. 4) She's not a bad mother-- she's not perfect, but she's learning and trust me, I've seen worst. 5) She's human-- everyone makes mistakes.

Through pain and suffering comes immense strength. Let's all hope she finds that strength in this new year.

NEW MUSIC.

Well, not really. But, it is rumored that Jive will release a special edition of Blackout with four new songs sometime next year. One of the songs, which most of us are already familiar with, is 'Let Go'. According to the official song registering service, BMI Repetoire, the official name of the song will be 'Love to Let Go.'

I hope this is true. It's one of her best songs which actually shows off her real voice. I actually prefer the other version to this official one, though. It was a lot more raw & I don't care for this new echoing effect that they've added. Oh well, it's still a great song & it's the same kind of sound overall.

UM.

I'm at a lost of words. I am SO SHOCKED. I cannot believe what is being reported. Other sources confirming this as true: MSN.com, TMZ, and People to name a few. This cannot be good press for either Britney or Jaime-Lynn.

Get ready. We're gonna be hearing some cruel jokes about these two girls in the next couple of days. She is, after all, only 16 years old and she happens to be Britney Spears' younger sister.

Sigh.

"Piece Of Me" has ARRIVED

Here it is guys. And I know you've all probably seen it a million times already on various sites and blogs, but I thought--what the hell, I might as well post it too.

It's a vast improvement over the Gimme More video in terms of production & concept. And thank GOODNESS there is more than ONE SCENE! Overall, I liked it. It's still not up to par with the Slave 4 U or Toxic music videos, but you know what? She's getting there slowly. After I saw that little dance number in the rest room scene towards the end of the Piece Of Me video, I saw a spark of what she used to perform like. And that's a very good sign.

BREAKING: She's a No-Show.

Reports say that it was due to an illness. But, she still should have shown. Both my aunt and uncle work at the Los Angeles Superior Court, and this is really not a good thing for her to skip this.

Hopefully, the judge will understand her situation. Then again, they're not too forgiving to others who miss scheduled hearings.

Honestly, I prefer the dark hair look.

It hides the extensions. It makes her look mysterious & it shows off her amazing facial structure. If you think about it, it kind of matches the state she's in right now in terms of music.

I mean, she did name her album Blackout, afterall.

Blackout has now sold almost 520,000 copies in the US. By today's standards, that is still considerably successful for only being on shelves a little over a month. Sales numbers will definitely increase throughout the holiday season.

Let's get those numbers past 600,000! Then, past at least 800,000 before the end of the year. After that, the 1 million mark will be just straight ahead.

Don't forget to buy the album for your friends and family this Christmas. Read the reviews!

Need A Light Britney?

As much as I don't like you smoking,

since it is a bad habit which is hard to quit--trust me I know,

I'd still let you steal a lighter from me any day.

We all know you're going through a lot.

SO SORRY.

For the lack of updates, articles, opinion pieces, and other things. Part of the reason is because I've already been busy with school and work everyday and on top of that, more hours at work have been added to my schedule.

The other reason, which is really the main reason, is the lack of actual news. I don't know about you, but I get sick of reading articles on how stupid Britney is or how fat she looks when she's not. Or how she's supposedly undergoing 81,000 dollars worth of surgery, being pregnant again, having miscarriages, reportedly abusing her children, dating her realtor, and hiring body doubles for the possible photoshoot for Blender. It's ridiculous.

For the very very few who actually read this site and visit regularly, don't believe any of the nonsense. Let's all just get on with our lives and enjoy the holiday season.

I can't wait for that Piece of Me video!

No Rolling Stone?

December 3, 2007 -- Britney Spears (right with Paris Hilton) may have finally made a good decision. The train wreck, who hasn't done much publicity for her new album, "Blackout," besides her daily run to Starbucks to get photographed, has pulled the plug on a potential Rolling Stone cover, said an insider. Spears was close to signing a contract with editor and publisher Jann Wenner, to pose for the cover, but called off talks when the Wenner Media boss refused to promise her it would actually land on Rolling Stone instead of Us Weekly, said the insider. Last year, Nick Lachey was duped into believing Wenner's promise of a Rolling Stone cover and was furious when he landed on Us instead. "It was going to be a good platform for her music to be taken seriously because it had been so long. But she refused to get screwed by Wenner," said our source. "They kept negotiating, and it got nasty." Spears has contacted Blender magazine, and a deal is being worked out for a cover there, said the source. A rep for Rolling Stone said they were "exploring a cover" but never had a discussion about any kind of contract.

As much as I'd love her to be on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, I think it's more important for her to keep her face off of that dirty US Weekly. So, smart move on her part. Being on Blender magazine isn't a bad idea. I just hope she does a real interview this time around. I'm not too worried about the pictures. If those test shots for OK! magazine from earlier this year were disasters, then I think she'll do fine. It seems as if her head is into doing this properly this time around--or at least, I could only hope. Time could only tell.

In the meantime, where's that Piece of Me video?! The wait is unbearable!
